Cop Left Injured After Shocking Hit-and-Run

A police officer was knocked down and hurt after a gold Ford Mondeo reversed into him before fleeing the scene. The terrifying incident happened around 11:45am on Tuesday, June 7, at the Co-operative car park near the junction of Botley Road and 1 Road in North Baddesley.

The officer had approached the driver and was speaking through the car window when the driver suddenly reversed and crashed into him. The officer suffered minor injuries to his hand and leg but bravely stayed on duty.

Police Issue Urgent Appeal for Witnesses

Authorities want anyone who saw the hit-and-run or spotted a gold Ford Mondeo in the area around that time to come forward.
