Police Swarm Newport Home: Three Arrested After Intense Search
Newport’s Linden Road was buzzing this afternoon as police swarmed a property with four squad cars and two dog vans. The dramatic operation saw several people searched and three men hauled away in police vans.
Heavy Police Presence at Linden Road Property
Uniformed officers and CID detectives surrounded the three-bedroom house halfway down Linden Road. A sniffer dog was brought in to search the premises thoroughly.
Three Arrests Made
Two men and one more individual were arrested for various offences. All three were taken to Newport police station for questioning.

A nearby resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said: “A sea of officers descended on the road just after 3.30pm. It was like something out of a movie.”
