Emergency services rushed to Council Avenue in Northfleet this afternoon following reports of a person trapped in a crashed vehicle. Kent Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were called at 3:17pm to the scene after a crash occurred under unknown circumstances.

Four fire engines arrived promptly, and firefighters worked heroically to extricate the trapped driver. After being freed, the victim was handed over to paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) for urgent medical attention. The condition of the injured person has not been disclosed.

The cause of the crash remains unclear as authorities have launched an investigation to determine what happened on Council Avenue. Drivers are advised to avoid the area while emergency crews conduct recovery operations and inquiries.

A spokesperson for Kent Fire and Rescue said, “Crews worked efficiently to free one person trapped in a vehicle and ensured they received prompt medical care. We thank residents for their cooperation as emergency services attended the scene.”
