A serious three-car crash occurred on the A259 in Newhaven just before 6pm on 26 February, causing significant disruption on Brighton Road. Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene, resulting in a temporary road closure.
Teams from Sussex Police, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, and ambulance crews responded swiftly to the incident. Three individuals sustained injuries, including a woman who was taken to hospital. The extent of her injuries has not yet been confirmed.
Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses who saw the collision or who may have dashcam footage related to the incident.
