Two Dead, Two Critically Injured in Horrific Billingshurst Crash
A late-night smash on Stane Street, Billingshurst, has left two dead and two fighting for their lives. Emergency services rushed to the scene at around 9:10pm, but it was already too late for the driver of the Skoda and a passenger in the Renault.
Victims Identified
- The Skoda driver: 22-year-old man from Dorking, died at the scene.
- Renault passenger: 19-year-old woman from Carshalton, also pronounced dead.
The Skoda’s sole passenger, a 23-year-old man, and the Renault’s driver, a 19-year-old woman from Billingshurst, were both rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Specialist officers have been supporting the next of kin, who have been informed of the tragic losses.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Sergeant Ian Foxton offered his condolences, saying: “This is a tragic incident, and I would like to express my sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of those involved.”
