Tragic Death of Young Man After A33 Crash
Police have named Jonathon Whitfield, 21, from Cheriton, as the man who died following a serious collision on the A33 last Wednesday.
Fatal Crash on A33 at Kings Worthy
Jonathon was involved in a collision with a white Ford Kuga on the A33 near Kings Worthy at 5.28pm on November 23. He was rushed to Southampton General Hospital but sadly died from his injuries the next morning.
Heartbroken Dad Pays Tribute
Jonathon’s father, Terry Whitfield Stone, expressed his grief today: “Jonathon was a much loved son who will be sadly missed by myself, Toby, his grandparents, his brothers, his sisters, his [partner], and friends.”
Investigation Underway, Driver Uninjured
The driver of the Ford Kuga, a 45-year-old man from Chandler’s Ford, was unhurt in the crash. Police continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
