Drugs Bust Shakes Swindon Street

Police swooped on a Grove Street address around 11am, smashing a suspected class A drugs operation. Officers from Stratton, Central North, and West Swindon Community Policing Team executed a warrant and seized a haul of illegal substances.

Two Arrested Over Class A Supply

A man and a woman were hauled in on suspicion of possession and intent to supply class A drugs. Both were taken to Gablecross Police Station for questioning but have since been released under investigation.

Police Promise to Crack Down on Drug Dealers

Community Tasking Team Investigator Hayley Beales said: “This was a positive warrant carried out by officers from the local community policing team which led to the arrest of two individuals and a seizure of a quantity of suspected class A.”

“We hope this brings reassurance to the local community and sends a clear message that drugs will not be tolerated, and we will continue to disrupt drug use.

“We urge residents who suspect illegal drug activity to report concerns to the police so action can be taken.”
