Silent Soldier Memorial Vandalised in Wrexham

Disgraceful Attack on War Tribute

A Silent Soldier memorial outside Wrexham Memorial Hall in Bodhyfryd has been vandalised. The damage was reported on July 11, but the exact time and date of the incident remain a mystery.

Police Launch Investigation, Seek Witnesses

District Support Sergeant Rhian Hughes slammed the vandalism. “It is disappointing that someone would see fit to vandalise a memorial which serves as a reminder of those who have given their lives to protect others,” she said.

Police described the act as “disrespectful behaviour” and have launched an investigation. Hughes urged anyone with information to come forward. “We need the public’s help to find those responsible.”

Call for Dash Cam Footage and Witnesses

Authorities are also asking anyone with dash cam footage or who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to get in touch. The police want to pinpoint when the damage happened to catch the culprits.
