Detectives are investigating after a woman was assaulted during a burglary at a residential property near Wilderness Golf Club in Parkfield, Swindon. The incident occurred at approximately 3.55pm on Friday, 21 June 2024. The suspect fled the scene with several stolen items, including jewellery.

Kent and Essex Serious Crime detectives have identified key routes the suspect may have taken following the burglary. They are urging motorists who were travelling between 3pm and 6.30pm to review their dashcam footage. Areas of particular interest include roads leading to Underriver, Riverhill, Bitchet Green, and Hildenborough.

Detective Inspector Maxine Harris stated that police are searching for a cyclist who was seen wearing a high visibility vest on Park Lane near the Buck’s Head pub and Sevenoaks Preparatory School at around 4.50pm. “We urge drivers to check any dashcam footage from this area – you might hold the vital clue we need,” she said.

Local residents are also encouraged to check their CCTV and doorbell camera footage for any suspicious activity around the time of the incident.
