Woman Pushed to Ground in Shocking Oxford Street Assault
Police are hunting a man after a woman was assaulted in broad daylight on busy Oxford Street.
Spitting Incident Turns Violent Near River Island
The drama unfolded around 2.45pm on Saturday, 15 June, outside River Island, close to Great Titchfield Street. A woman in her 50s was walking with her niece in her 20s when they clashed with a man and a woman.
The man spat at the older woman, who snapped a photo of him on her phone. Furious, he pushed her to the ground before dashing into Oxford Circus Underground Station. Thankfully, she suffered no serious injuries.
Police Seek Witnesses and Suspect
