Massive Blaze Hits Holborn Office Building
Twenty-five fire engines and around 150 firefighters are battling a fierce blaze at an office building on Chancery Lane, Holborn. The fire, blazing on the roof and part of the fifth floor of the six-storey building, erupted late Saturday night.
Firefighters Battle Flames Into The Night
The London Fire Brigade was called out at 10.40pm with crews rushing from Soho, Dowgate, Euston, Islington, Lambeth, Whitechapel, Paddington, Shoreditch, Shadwell, and Old Kent Road stations. Hundreds of firefighters are still on-site, battling the stubborn rooftop inferno.
Cause of Fire Remains Mystery
Officials have yet to determine what sparked the blaze as emergency teams continue their efforts to douse the flames and protect nearby properties.
