A fierce fire tore through parts of a pub’s sub-basement and basement in Trafalgar Square last night. The inferno caused significant damage, forcing a rapid emergency response.
Firefighters Battle Intense Heat and Tough Conditions

Before the fire brigade arrived, about 150 people evacuated the pub and nearby businesses. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.

Traffic Chaos and Final Extinguishing
The Fire Brigade was called at 5:49 p.m., and after hours of battling the flames, the fire was finally extinguished by 10 p.m. People have been urged to avoid the area due to heavy traffic disruptions caused by the emergency response.
