Tragic Canal Incident: Teen Pulls from Water Dies
A 14-year-old boy was pulled from a canal near Mill Green on Wednesday afternoon but later died in hospital.

East Midlands Ambulance Service rushed to reports of a youngster in trouble just before 4:50pm on August 18. Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service arrived quickly and helped get him out of the canal. Despite prompt paramedic care, he was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
