Massive Fire Erupts on Chobham Common
Eight fire crews are battling a huge blaze on Chobham Common after reports that 10 hectares of undergrowth are ablaze. Firefighters were scrambled to the scene at around 12:25pm on Friday.
Road Closures and Evacuations Underway
Surrey Fire and Rescue Service have shut several roads in the area to keep people safe. They’ve urged anyone on Chobham Common to return to their vehicles and leave immediately.
Stay clear of the area while crews work to contain the fire.
