BOOKS showcased a vast collection of Harry Potter adventures while attendees battled it out in a lively trivia contest based on the fourth book, The Goblet of Fire. The night also featured a special reading, making it a spellbinding event.
Ambassador Hedges Reads the Dragon Chapter
Ambassador Matthew Hedges delighted the crowd by reading Chapter 19, “The Hungarian Horntail,” in Spanish. Explaining the choice, he said:
“It is a pleasure to me to share with you this chapter where we learn about these magical creatures, among them a Welsh Green. As you know, the Welsh flag has a dragon in it!”
Trivia Battle and a Magical Finale
Fans tested their knowledge with tricky questions about the Triwizard Tournament. The deciding final question? “What was the price of the Triwizard Tournament?” Hint: It wasn’t just the Triwizard Cup!
BOOKS and the British Embassy are already gearing up to bring the magic back next year. Expect even more spells, fun, and wizardry!
