Man Found With Facial Injuries in Upminster Sparks Road Shutdown
A man was discovered with facial injuries just after midnight in Upminster, triggering a major police investigation and road closure. Emergency services rushed to the scene on St Mary’s Lane at 12:26 am after reports of an injured individual emerged.

The victim, a 29-year-old man, was quickly attended to by the London Ambulance Service, who arrived at 12:29 am. He was taken to hospital as a priority for urgent treatment.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said, “We were called at 12:29 am this morning (April 23) to reports of an incident on St Mary’s Lane, Upminster. We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and took a patient to the hospital as a priority.”
