Person Killed in Tragic Train Hit Near Pershore
Heartbreak on the rails early this morning as a person was fatally struck by a train near Pershore. Emergency crews rushed to the Great Western Railway line after reports came in around 5:30am on December 23.
Despite frantic efforts, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. British Transport Police confirmed there is no suspicion surrounding the incident.

Services between London Paddington, Didcot Parkway, Oxford, and Hereford were immediately halted, triggering widespread delays and cancellations on Great Western Railway. Passengers faced disruptions of up to an hour, with services stuck in limbo.
