Firefighters Battle Blaze on Buckleigh Road

Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters scrambled to tackle a flat fire on Buckleigh Road, Streatham, early this morning (21 April).

Rescue Drama as Man Pulled from Burning Flat

The fire damaged half of a ground-floor flat in a converted two-storey house. Firefighters heroically rescued a man trapped inside. Meanwhile, five others managed to escape before the Brigade arrived.

Two Hospitalised as Fire Under Control in Under an Hour

London Ambulance Service took two people to hospital following the blaze. The Brigade was called just after midnight at 00:10, and had the fire under control by 01:02. Crews from Norbury, West Norwood, and Tooting fire stations were on the scene.

Cause of Fire Still a Mystery

Authorities are currently investigating what sparked the fire.
