Police in Cumbria are conducting a desperate search for Alexandra Harrod, 47, who disappeared without a trace in September 2025. Known as Alex, she has been missing for several weeks, prompting renewed urgent appeals from law enforcement for any information that could lead to her location.
Alexandra was last seen on the evening of 2nd September 2025 at her home in Seaton. She is described as white, with short dark hair, and was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms, a padded dark jacket, and carrying a dark rucksack at the time.
Earlier that same day, CCTV footage captured Alexandra at Costa Coffee on King Street in Whitehaven at approximately 11:20 am. She had also been visiting various shops across Whitehaven and Workington, which has raised questions about her movements prior to her disappearance.
Police are currently searching for a missing Samsung J6 phone that Alexandra may have lost in the Workington, Seaton, or surrounding areas between 2nd and 9th September. Detectives believe this phone could contain vital clues to help solve the case.
Alexandra has connections across England, including Devon, Durham, Dorset, Leeds, and Wiltshire, which police are considering in their investigation.
Authorities urge anyone with information or who spots Alexandra Harrod to contact Cumbria Police immediately on 101. They have also made a heartfelt plea directly to Alexandra: if you see this message, please come forward.
