Police were called to Longshaw Road, Chingford, at 9.21pm on Monday, 10 April, following reports of a stabbing that shocked the local community.

Officers arrived within three minutes and were joined by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. Despite urgent efforts by emergency teams and members of the public, the 17-year-old boy was found with fatal stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have informed the boy’s next of kin and detectives have launched a full investigation into the incident. Enquiries are ongoing, but no arrests have been made at this time.
