A man in his 30s has been arrested following a brutal assault at the Foxhill motocross event in Upper Wanborough on Thursday night, 22 August. The incident occurred at around 9:15 pm, leaving the victim, also a man in his 30s, with life-threatening injuries.
Wiltshire Police were alerted to the scene by the ambulance service and responded promptly. The injured man was taken immediately to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
The suspect, who is known to the victim, is currently in custody and faces a suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He is being questioned by police as part of the ongoing investigation.
