Stabbing Chaos in Dagenham: Two Men Hospitalised After Late-Night Brawl
Violent Fight Erupts on Green Lane
Two men were rushed to hospital with stab wounds following a brutal brawl in Dagenham late Tuesday night. Police were called to Green Lane, near Wood Lane junction, at 10:18pm on May 13 after reports of multiple men fighting in the street.
Officers arrived to find one man with head injuries, who was quickly taken to hospital. Shortly afterwards, two others turned up at hospital with stabbing injuries. Police believe all three victims were involved in the same violent incident.
Crime Scene Locks Down Green Lane
A large police cordon was set up, closing Green Lane for over 12 hours. Forensic teams combed the scene before the cordon was lifted after 11am the next day.
Three Men Arrested Over Brutal Attack
- Three men aged 24, 36, and 47 were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and affray.
- One man faces an additional charge of possession of a class A drug.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“At 22:18hrs on Tuesday, 13 May police were called to Green Lane, Dagenham, following reports of a group of men fighting in the road. Officers attended and found a man with head injuries, who was taken to hospital. Two men self-presented at hospital with stab wounds and are believed connected to the incident. Three men aged 24, 36 and 47 have been arrested on suspicion of GBH and affray. One was also arrested for possession of a class A drug. The investigation is ongoing.”
