Violent Pub Brawl in Headcorn Leaves Two Men Seriously Injured
Two Men Attacked at George and Dragon
Police are hunting witnesses after two serious assaults at the George and Dragon pub in Headcorn. The shocking attack happened around 11.30pm on Thursday, 6 March 2025, on High Street.
Two men, aged in their 30s and 50s, were reportedly set upon by a group inside the pub. Both victims suffered serious injuries and were rushed to hospital. Fortunately, they have since been discharged.
Maidstone Man Arrested, Now on Bail
Following an ongoing investigation, officers arrested a 39-year-old man from Maidstone on Tuesday, 1 April, on suspicion of assault. He has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Kent Police are calling on anyone who saw the violence or has any information to get in touch. A spokesman said:
“This was a violent incident which left two men seriously injured. We are appealing to anyone who was in or around the George and Dragon pub that evening and saw what happened to get in touch with us.”
