Three Drug Dealers Busted and Jailed in Leamington Crackdown
Three men caught dealing crack cocaine and heroin in Leamington have been locked up for more than eight years combined after vigilant detectives spotted suspicious behaviour on the streets.
Suspicious Behaviour Leads to Arrests
In March 2021, officers on patrol in Leamington zeroed in on Alexander Finch, 47, acting strangely. A search revealed he was carrying both heroin and crack cocaine.
Shortly after, police raided Finch’s flat on Dale Street.
Raid Uncovers More Dealers and Drugs
Inside the flat, they found Keenan Walker, 24, from Westminster Road, coventry/" title="Coventry" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Coventry, and Callum Rogers, 21, from Murray Lodge, Coventry, alongside more drugs in various stages ready to sell.
All three were arrested and charged with possession of heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply.
Sentences Handed Down at Warwick Crown Court
On 2 November at Warwick Crown Court, Finch was jailed for 24 months, Walker received 36 months, and Rogers got 40 months behind bars.
Detective Constable Pitt warned: “These substances destroy lives and place a huge burden on users, families, communities, and public services.”
“All three defendants might now want to use this time to find better things to do with their lives.”
“I hope this serves as a warning. Do this in our town and we’re going to lock you up.”
