Daniel Oluwaseun Temi Ojeh, 33, from Broomcroft Avenue, Northolt, was sentenced to six years in prison at Kingston Crown Court on Wednesday, 25 November. Ojeh pleaded guilty to dealing class A drugs across north Surrey, targeting areas including Stanwell, Staines, and Ashford.

Police arrested Ojeh on 7 July after observing suspicious behaviour with two associates near Northumberland Close in Staines-upon-Thames. Upon searching him, officers found two mobile phones and cash. Further inspection at Staines Custody Centre revealed nine wraps of cocaine and ten wraps of heroin on his person.

Subsequent searches at Ojeh’s Northolt home on 14 September uncovered scales, bags, razor blades, £12,000 in cash, and enough drugs to supply approximately 500 deals. Alongside the drugs, officers discovered a collection of designer trainers valued at over £26,000 and a gold Rolex watch, indicating a luxury lifestyle funded by criminal activity.

Ojeh, who has no legitimate employment, is believed to have purchased these luxury items using proceeds from drug dealing.

Ojeh was charged with supplying class A drugs, possession of controlled substances with intent to supply, and possession of criminal property.

PC Thomas Smith commented: “Another drug dealer is behind bars, showing our relentless fight against county lines drug dealing in Surrey. Drug networks trash communities, bringing violence, exploitation, and crime with them. Ojeh had the cheek to fund his lavish lifestyle with illegal profits. Now, he’s in prison – proving once and for all that crime doesn’t pay.”

PC Smith added, “The £12,000 seized is now held under the Proceeds of Crime Act. It will be reviewed by the Home Office in March next year, possibly repaying victims or funding public safety equipment.”

“This arrest is a win for Surrey Police and the Metropolitan Police’s County Drug Lines Disruption Team,” he concluded.
