Police in Ashford are actively hunting a bike thief who was caught stealing a bicycle on Chesterfield Road. The incident occurred at approximately 2.45pm on Monday, 17 May, when the suspect took a bike from a front garden.

The man was seen cycling away towards Stanwell Road immediately after being challenged by a witness. He is described as a white male, aged between 17 and 20 years old, with a medium build. At the time, he was dressed entirely in black and wearing a black cotton balaclava.

Although the stolen bike was recovered later the same day, the thief remains at large. Police are urging anyone who recognises the individual to contact them without delay.
