Man Fights for Life After Shocking Assault in Arnos Grove

Detectives are hunting witnesses after a brutal assault in Arnos Grove left a 33-year-old man fighting for his life.

Attack on Bowes Road Leaves Victim Critical

The violent incident happened at 1.30pm on Friday, 26 June, on Bowes Road, N11. London Ambulance rushed the victim to hospital, where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

Arrest Made, But Police Still Need Witnesses

A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). He’s been bailed to return to a North London police station later this month.

Detective Constable Carolina Luby from North Area CID urged locals to come forward.

“This victim remains in hospital in a critical condition fighting for his life. Tomorrow marks one week since the assault. It’s vital that anyone who saw the altercation contacts my team immediately. There are several flats overlooking the scene. I am convinced that people know what happened. If you have any CCTV or dashcam footage, please share it with us.”
