Triple Stabbing Shocks Clapham High Street

A brutal triple stabbing rocked the A3 Clapham High Street late last night. Police have cordoned off part of the southbound carriageway this morning following the violent attack, which happened just before 9:15pm on Thursday, 10 April. One suspect is already in custody.

Scene of Horror Under Railway Bridge

The stabbing unfolded under the railway bridge between Bedford Road (near Clapham North Station) and Aristotle Road. A heavy police and ambulance response rushed to the scene, with the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service quickly setting up a crime scene. Forensic teams are combing the area for evidence as investigations continue.

Three Injured, One Arrest Made

A police source confirmed three people were seriously hurt in the attack. All victims were rushed to hospital, though their current conditions remain undisclosed. Meanwhile, one individual has been arrested and is in police custody. Their role in the incident is still being examined by investigators.

Road Closures Cause Travel Chaos

The A3 southbound remains shut, causing disruption to bus routes 50, 88, 155, 322, and 345. Authorities urge drivers and commuters to avoid the area and allow extra travel time. Despite the closures, traffic is reportedly coping well so far.

Local Community on Edge

“This is the heart of our community — it’s deeply worrying to hear that three people were stabbed just metres from the station,” a shocked local resident said.

Ongoing Investigation

The police cordon will stay in place throughout the day as forensic officers carry out detailed work at the scene. The motive behind the stabbing remains unclear. It is not yet known whether the victims knew each other or the suspect. The Metropolitan Police have been approached for comment but have yet to release an official statement.
