Man Injured in Broad Daylight Brawl – Police Hunt Suspect
At 12.10pm on October 28, chaos erupted on Parkside Avenue when emergency services were called to reports of a fight and an injured man. The victim fled the scene by car but came to a stop on Lewisham High Road, where a passing paramedic was flagged down.
Thankfully, the man’s injuries were later confirmed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing. But the drama didn’t end there.
CCTV Released as Police Launch Manhunt
Police have now released CCTV footage of a suspect they want to track down. Detective Constable Victor Iyalla urged the public, “I am keen to hear from anyone who may have seen this man heading towards Parkside Square.”
He stressed the severity of the attack. “The assault happened in broad daylight. The victim was critically injured and hospitalised for some time.”
Community Urged to Help Crack Case
Detective Iyalla hit out at street violence. “Violence on our streets is not acceptable.”
