Chaos erupted late Friday evening as Camden High Street was sealed off following a stabbing. Police and paramedics swarmed the scene after reports of a man being attacked.

Eyewitnesses revealed the victim, a man, was stabbed then fled up Camden High Street. Emergency crews rushed to treat him before rushing him to hospital. His current condition remains unknown.

Authorities set up a large cordon, closing part of the busy street. This forced diversions for bus routes 124, 273, 30, 116, 8, N5, 27, 28, and 31. Commuters are warned to expect delays and seek alternative travel options.

“A crime scene remains in place as officers work to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbing,” said a Metropolitan Police officer at the scene.
