Firefighters from three stations rushed to tackle a fierce shed fire that rapidly spread to a nearby property in Hilsea.
Crews from Cosham, Southsea, and Portchester were called out on Saturday evening to Magdalene Road. Reports indicated that people were inside the property, prompting firefighters to respond quickly to the well-developed blaze.
Teams wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a main jet to contain the flames and prevent further damage to the house.
Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service also attended the scene. Thankfully, all occupants inside the building were accounted for and safe after the intense stand-off.
