Shock has gripped Chiswick after a 48-year-old man was found dead following a collapse on Sutton Lane North. The incident occurred on the morning of Sunday, 12 January, prompting an urgent response from emergency services.

Police from the West Area Command Unit, which covers Hounslow, are currently investigating the mysterious circumstances surrounding the man’s death. Emergency services were called to Sutton Lane North, near Chiswick High Road, at approximately 8:20 am.

The man, who had been reported missing the day before, was found collapsed and was immediately taken to hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he tragically passed away later that day.

The Metropolitan Police have stated that formal identification of the deceased is still pending. However, the man’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers as the investigation continues.

At this time, the death is classified as unexplained while detectives work to establish the full circumstances. Authorities have urged anyone with information related to the case to come forward.
