A young woman in her 20s has died in a tragic crash on the M2 near Junction 4 on Christmas Eve. Her black Volkswagen T-Roc collided with the central reservation on the London-bound side just before 12:50pm, then flipped over.
The driver, who was from Faversham, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was alone in the vehicle, and no other cars were involved in the incident.
Police closed the carriageway between Junctions 5 and 4 to carry out investigations into the fatal collision. The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is leading the inquiry.
