Eiffel Tower Evacuated After Man Climbs Outside
Drama in Paris! The iconic Eiffel Tower has been evacuated and shut down until further notice after a daredevil scaled the outside of the landmark.
Climber Spotted at Second Level
The man began his jaw-dropping climb from the second level at around 2:15pm local time, sparking panic among tourists and staff.
Police Negotiating as Visitors Held Inside
Officials instructed visitors inside the tower to stay put while police talked the climber down. A tower spokesman said: “The tower is currently closed as we work to resolve this issue. We advise anyone planning to visit to choose another date.”
